Hi, I’m Teaghan — a 23-year-old soon-to-be mom, passionate home cook, and the voice behind Bedhead and Breakfast. I started this blog to carve out a little space on the internet where food still feels personal, comforting, and real.
I’ve always loved cooking. I even went to culinary school for a while, but left to help with my mom’s real estate business after facing doubts (both from others and myself) about whether a career in food was really “practical.” Still, that love for making meals never went away — especially the kind that bring people together and nourish more than just your body.
Bedhead and Breakfast is about choosing to sit down and enjoy a real meal, even when life feels overwhelming. It’s about finding ease and intention in the kitchen — not perfection. I focus on recipes made from affordable, in-season, accessible ingredients so that good food isn’t out of reach, no matter your budget or background.
These days, a lot of food content online feels more about chasing likes than sharing meals. I want this blog to be the opposite of that: thoughtful, honest, and rooted in real life. Bedhead and all.
